Quality Assurance Specialist

Insignia Technology Services has an immediate opening for a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in the DC area.  In this position, you will ensure quality assurance and quality control of Information Technology (IT) systems.  As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will use your experience in quality control to support the IT project lifecycle.  This position will collaborate with the other IT professionals on the team as well as other government resources.
  • Perform quality assurance and control of the IT systems
  • Establish and maintain a process for evaluating project deliverables, and associated documentation determines necessary resources for quality control 
  • Provide oversight on Service Level Agreement (SLA) process development and verification 
  • Ensure improvement plans are identified and implemented to resolve performance and SLA issues
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is required; four (4) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education 
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Low-Risk Background Clearance National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI)
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the US 
 
  • Experience Quality Assurance Specialist – Mid 
  1. Minimum of three (3) years of experience in quality assurance and quality control of IT systems or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
  2. Minimum of one (1) year of experience in ISO or other quality management standard or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • Experience Quality Assurance Specialist – Senior 
  1. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in quality assurance and quality control of IT systems or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
  2. Minimum of one (1) year of experience in ISO or other quality management standard or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Preferred 
  • Active Low-Risk Background Clearance National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) or equivalent

Work Location
