Endpoint Engineer

Insignia Technology Services has an immediate opening for an Endpoint Engineer to join our team in the DC area. In this position, you will support the Windows image and the imaging infrastructure. As an Endpoint Engineer, you will apply your technical knowledge to solve a variety of enterprise technological challenges. This position will report to the Project Manager and collaborate with the other developers and IT professionals on the team as well as other government resources. 
  • Evaluate OS and application patches 
  • Testing patches using established processes
  • Troubleshooting patch related issues
  • Technical evaluations for desktop technology solutions
  • Manage desktop deployments and migrations
  • Maintain Windows images up to date with drivers, software and windows patches
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis 
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High School Degree or equivalent 
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Low-Risk Background Clearance National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI)
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the US
 
  • Experience Endpoint Engineer – Junior
  1. Minimum of three (3) years of experience managing Windows images and imaging infrastructure or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
  2. Minimum of one (1) year of experience with application packaging, patching of Windows OS, Active Directory, Group Policies, WMI, Dell Hardware, and anti-virus technologies or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • Experience Endpoint Engineer – Mid
  1. Minimum of six (6) years of experience managing Windows images and imaging infrastructure or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
  2. Minimum of one (1) year of experience with application packaging, patching of Windows OS, Active Directory, Group Policies, WMI, Dell Hardware, and anti-virus technologies or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
  •  Experience Endpoint Engineer – Senior
  1. Minimum of eight (8) years of experience managing Windows images and imaging infrastructure or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
  2. Minimum of one (1) year of experience with application packaging, patching of Windows OS, Active Directory, Group Policies, WMI, Dell Hardware, and anti-virus technologies or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
 
Preferred
  • Active Low-Risk Background Clearance National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) or equivalent
