SAS System Administrator

Insignia Technology Services has an immediate opening for a SAS System Administrator to join our team in the DC area. In this position you will administer and manage the SAS environment. As a SAS System Administrator, you will use your skills and experience to Perform maintenance, configuration, and deployment of SAS based systems. This position will collaborate with other IT professionals on the team as well as other government resources.
  • Administer and manage the SAS environment  
  • Perform maintenance, configuration, and deployment of SAS based systems
  • Implement major software upgrades, ensuring change management procedures are implemented and followed 
  • Complete incident management as it relates to SAS based platforms
  • Manage the interaction and integration of SAS with other systems
  • Analyze network traffic and provides capacity planning solutions
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • High School Degree or equivalent 
  • SAS Certified Platform Administrator Certification or equivalent
  • Must have at least eight (8) years of experience administrating and managing SAS platforms or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities 
  • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the US 
  • Active Low-Risk Background Clearance National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) or equivalent

Work Location
